How to Submit Work for Consideration

1020ART is an ever-changing and expanding gallery. As gallery curator and director, I am always interested in reviewing work. I try to make the process of presenting work and creating a partnership as simple as possible.

1020ART shows emerging artists, mid-career artists and professional artists. We have 70+ artists represented in the gallery in a wide variety of mediums and styles.

It is easy to e-mail the gallery (info@1020ART.com) or phone 850.383.1020 to introduce yourself and request a review.

Although it is not expected that everyone have a high-end portfolio for review, it is expected that the artists be professional and prepared. To be prepared, I ask for:

• A brief artist statement. Unlike the statement written for a graduate thesis, I prefer knowing why it is you do what you do. I like to know a little about your journey getting your art to the level you have presently achieved
  
  
• A brief description of your work and brief bio.
  
  
• A minimum of 5 images of your work (completed within the past 3 years)

1020ART also offers show opportunities through "Calls For Artists" throughout the year. Each of these opportunities specifies the type of work we requesting.
