Internationally recognized as a fine Plein Air artist, Paul's style is instantly recognized for its impact of color, design and feeling - incorporating the light and imagery of the Impressionists, the vigor and rich palate of the Fauves, and the pattern and rhythm of the Nabis and Postimpressionists.
His work is a celebration of simple things, of the everyday and often overlooked elements of a region, a busy harbor or quiet waterfront, a tropical hack lane, a market vendor.
His ability to artfully express the essence of a place is a defining characteristic of his paintings.
Paul lives and works much of the year in Naples, Florida - with a secondary studio in Hana, Maui.
